    Fabulous

Excellent location in the 7th, great old building with lots of charactor and a charming courtyard.

Being an old building, the rooms are bit small.

    Very good

I had stayed at this hotel once before and remembered it for it's great location and ambiance. This time things had changed a bit (the breakfast room is no longer down stairs, but still we enjoyed the proximity of the Eiffel Tower particularly as my fiance had not been there before. The staff were helpful (great for non French speaking visitors) in making suggestions for restaurants etc.

The bathroom could have been cleaner.

    Fabulous

The staff (particularly the day staff) were helpful and curteous. The location was excellent. It was a short walk to sidewalk shopping and grocery stores for lower priced food and drink options. Fresh baked bread and goat cheese were very close by. This gave you a little taste of how it was to live in Paris. It was a very modest walk to the Eifel Tower, Grand Palace, Petit Palace and Army Museum. The room size was modest and simple but pleasantly decorated. You could see people in the park playing rugby, bocce ball and bicycle polo nearby. The rain at night outside the open window on the tile was a wonderful way to go to sleep. Sitting in the small courtyard with your bare feet on the cool tile, a cool drink and slow conversation with other visitors was also very nice after walking around all day. People on the sidewalk and in the area were very friendly to me.

If it is important to have 3-6 people in the lobby to help you and valet parking, don't go there. If you want to feel a little more like you live in Paris, do go there.

Hotel staff at this hotel very friendly. As per usual in Paris, you get little for your money. I paid 270 Euros for two nights. Very small room, very loud outside the window, room hadn't been updated in 40 years, old and ugly wallpaper in the room and on top of this internet and breakfast, they charge you quite a bit extra. Charming lobby and excellent location, but you just don't get much for your money in Paris. Too many goddamn tourists!!! Better to book early and get a better deal without such a location. The hotel desperately needs a renovation!

The hotel was on a nice street, a great location, where I could see the Eiffel Tour from the street each day, proving I was really there, in Paris. I liked that it was an old building, a former nunnery.

The room was small and unattractive, with red (dirty-looking) carpet and an ugly green bedspread on the bed (also dirty-looking). The bed was horizontally blocking the entrance to the room, so I had to turn sideways to make my way into the room. I moved the bed and thereby freed up some space, making the room more open and attractive to live in for a week. The curtains were wrinkled and some where hanging off the rods, as the clips were missing; one rod was just dangling. I also resolved this. Would not stay there again. And definitely not for older people (thinking of aunts, uncles and mom) as the stairs are crooked and without banisters at times. If more attention was placed on cleanliness and decor, this could be a fantastic place. They advertised a nice patio, but the plants were listless with brown leaves dangling off most that were still alive. Also, the vacuum stood by the downstairs entry the whole time; they could've put it in the corner with the other cleaning equipment.

    Good

The hotel is relatively cheap - comparing to other hotels in the area. The interior design is nicely traditional. Charming patio. My room was quiet.

My top-floor room was tiny and the slanting ceiling made it almost impossible to walk. Yet, it takes a tall person to open/close the window. I didn't mind for one night, but I would mind in case of a longer stay. The place needs some redecorating badly.

    Good

The advice that I recieved on where to eat dinner was so good and very welcome.

Didn't enjoy having to go into the lobby to get internet connection.

The location is perfect and you can really feel at home at this cosy little hotel. It's my second stay here and I have enjoyed it a lot.

A nice area with good access to the centre. Hotel is 'typically french'. Breakfast was good.

The furniture was to say the least, tired and the rooms are very small. It was impossible to turn the heating down (from a very large radiator in our very small room - 21) and as a result we had to sleep with no covers on and the window open, even though temperatures outside were sub- zero.

    Fabulous

Perfect location, close to the metro station and short walking distance to the Tour Eiffel. Hotel personal was polite and willing to help.

    Superb

I had seen dozens of others options before booking a room in this hotel. I am really glad I chose this one! I traveled with my mother and we shared a double room. Paris is an expensive city, therefore space is expensive. The room is quite small. But it is very clean. And the bathroom, which is in the room, is very good and clean. The hotel staff is pretty nice, especially the staff that serves the breakfast. I recommend having breakfast in the hotel because it is very complete. The best thing about this hotel is its location. There are two subway stations near. To sum up, if don’t mind about space, and you are looking for an inexpensive, clean, safe a well located hotel this might be a good choice for you.

There only two things that I didn’t like about the hotel. The elevator is very small, so you might have a hard time taking your luggage to your room. It is really small. It fits like one person with one luggage at the time. The bathroom door didn’t lock, but it is in the room so this is not a big issue. Despite these little minors the hotel is an excellent choice. And I speak also on behalf of my mother who is very exigent about cleanness and safeness.

    Very good

Although I arrived late I was expected. The location (near Eiffel tower) was excellent.

Very small room, poor TV set

    Fabulous

Quaint building very close to everything in Paris. Good hotel for walking to and from. Lots of eateries, pubs and tourist attractions close by.

The Hotel is in a real good position, real close to the metro station of Invalides and to the tour Eiffel. The staff is pleasant and the receptionist open us the door at 5.30 am after a night in club. I don't try the breakfast, so no judge about it.

The room was really small and the door of the bath was unable to close.

The hotel staff was very helpful as we worked our way around the train strikes in France. Metro stops were very close! It was in the middle of a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Yikes! Our room was very old and needed some tlc. The curtains(window and shower) were partially off the rods, the cloth walls were very stained and dirty and we went into sneezing fits upon entering the room each day. I would find little to recommend at this hotel.
